Shelter Move

On September 10, 2011, we were finally able to move into our new shelter at 8177 Regent Parkway, Fort Mill, SC 29715!

The new shelter is a more suitable building for housing animals.  It also offers large, well-equipped cages, a state-of-the-art air handling unit, improved sanitation, a laundry room, and many other much needed improvements.  We are so happy to offer a better environment to our temporary furry residents and their adopters and caretakers.  In addition, the HSYC will own its part of the new building in a little over 10 years, giving us even more power to give abandoned animals a second chance.

To accomplish this goal we raised over $130,000, thanks to our many dedicated volunteers and supporters.  To complete the up fit we had to take out a $60,000 loan that we are now in the process of paying off.  We ask that you continue to support our move to this new facility by making donations and attending HSYC events.
