The fees for adoption from the HSYC are:
The HSYC fee includes the following:

| Distemper vaccination(s) | $40 - $60 (2 sets) |
| Rabies vaccination | $15 - $25 |
| Heartworm test | $15 - $35 |
| Heartworm treatment (if necessary) | $700 - $900 |
| Flea/tick treatment | $50 - $100 |
We also provide food, shelter, socialization, exercise and love to make sure our animals are ready to go to your loving home to become family pets.
IMPORTANT: There is a 24-HOUR waiting period for ALL adoptions.
We are affiliated with Robert G. Chappell from the Carolina Place Animal Hospital. Dr. Chappell and his staff provide medical care, supplies and spay/neuter procedures at a very low cost for the HSYC, and they donate many hours of their time to make sure our animals are in good health at adoption time.
